If it’s a sunny afternoon and you’re out for a drink with friends, Laings Bar and Kitchen should be your first port of call. Inside you’ll find a stylish and intimate space which can accommodate large groups for dinner. The menu is on offer every day from 11-9, so you can grab a late breakfast or dinner from their wide choice of dishes. There are some great offers for everyone, but particularly cheap options for students. However, it’s not the inside of Laings that everyone raves about: it’s the outside. Renowned throughout the city for having the best beer garden in Dundee, its lawn and steps slope down from the main bar to extensive seating. The numerous tables are always packed with patrons having fun. If you think the garden’s a bit too far from the bar, you can always choose to people-watch from the balcony.
